Restaurants & Bars
The Madeiran gastronomy was strongly influenced by the first Portuguese settlers since 1419. However, with about 600 years of history, it underwent several changes becoming more and more regional. Nowadays, Madeira is known for passion fruit pudding, Madeira wine, “Bolo do Caco”, “Espetada”, grilled “Lapas”, “Poncha”, exotic fruits, and many other typical dishes.
Garden-to-Plate Philosophy:
Do you know that we have our own garden, where the air is perfumed with the invigorating scents of aromatic plants and vegetables that have flourished under the island sun. Lavender, rosemary, thyme, and an array of other herbs add a touch of magic to every dish we serve. As you explore the garden, you're not just experiencing the ingredients; you're connecting with the very essence of Madeira's natural beauty.
